Battlefield Hardline : The HCAR + FLIR combo (first try)
0In Hardline I didn't like the HCAR at first. Too much recoil. Or so I thought. I switched to the great SA-58 OSW which I eventually licensed (1250 kills) Yet with the SA-58 I started to experiment with single shot, which works wonders mid (and long) range. And to go for some change I went for single shot Socom16 and PTR-91. Great guns.
But the HCAR ... I left it alone, because of my initial dislike of that weapon. Was I wrong? Perhaps. Because I recently returned to the HCAR, but now as a single shot gun. And it works wonders. It is more accurate than the SA-58 and has a larger clip (31 bullets, versus 21 for the SA-58 and Socom and PTR) When I attach my favoured FLIR scope I make kills like with the SA-58 or maybe even more efficient (due to the better accuracy)
So, in short, after intially being disappointed by the HACR, I now start to love the gun when you go for SINGLE SHOT, and keep your distance to the enemy. Keep it mid/long range and you have the upper hand most of the times. The larger clipsize is a big plus.
Ohh, and the HCAR sounds brutal. It helps:)
