Star Wars Battlefront 2 has seen some controversy since EA released it. This mainly involved the lootboxes and pay to win practices. A recent update has changed all this. Star Cards are no longer in lootcrates, and are now earned just by leveling up certain troops. Han Solo will level up just by playing with him now, just like Boba Fett and other troops, such as the assault and heavy trooper classes. Microtransactions are coming back soon, though, with hero costumes and cosmetics now being in the lootboxes. Crystals are returning but in the meantime we have some new content and a new progression system to mess around with.
