Brogue is an incredibly good roguelike, made by Brian Walker. It features tight game design, beautiful looking visuals (for an ASCII game), excellent UI, deep mechanics with plenty of environmental interaction, interesting procedurally generated puzzles and easy to pick up gameplay. It's difficult too. Not played this one for a while so don't expect too much but this will be something I play on here regularly.
