While recovering my mechwarriors from injuries, I had the chance to do more mission contracts that gives decent salvages and I'm now using medium mechs that are 50 Tonnes or more. While mobility is an issue, they do however holds lots of firepower and decent armours to tank the damages. One notable thing I had done this round is a big stomp in the head on an enemy mech and have the pleasure watching it go boom just because I squashed its cockpit with jumpjet. Cash is a bit low, but I get by just selling previous missions' unwanted salvages.
