We delve into the 80 ton Goliath Assault Battlemech, a Battlemech that is a very stable Fire Support platform with ok damage output and good armor for a light assault. This Battlemech's damage output can be good at long and short range, as it fires from range with its two LRM 10 and PPC. It's not the best in a close knife fight, but it can provide some needed support for long range operation on the battlefield if used correctly. The battlemech with 17 HS can fire all of its weapons and only go up a little on the heat scale.
