The SNES figured out how to make the Rat Race level WORSE, in 2, maybe 3 ways. 1. The fantastical SNES zoomed in view so you can see more detailed sprites. I couldn't see below me until I was point blank down there. 2. You must now complete all 3 circuits of the rat race in one go, or start over from the beginning. 3. You must now be ready to punch the rat in mid air during the race.
