I missed the Rodin.

Insidious is one of the dumbest bosses ever, inconsistent hitboxes and horrible camera angles. The end would have gone a lot faster if I just switched to Scarborough Fair. Rodin Umbran Climax sucks.. It adds almost no damage.

I probably won't keep Gaze of Despair on. It's really poorly balanced in this game.. A few enemies are just impossible mode regardless of difficulty. If I end up fighting Masked Lumen with it on I'll do it on ∞ Climax. Probably makes more sense to show actual Hard Mode strategies.

Most enemies can't break out of Umbran Climax combos on lower difficulties, you can shred Masked Lumen to pieces with Scarborough Fair PPPKKK.. The fight actually takes quite a bit longer if you use the Counter, you can avoid it. I'm not sure if you can kill him with the Counter.. I've never managed to land it when his health is low enough.

Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa is pretty dissapointing in this game. I mostly had it on to block random projectiles in the Insidious fight. You just get some weak punch on a perfect counter.. I was expecting something epic with the Rodin. It might work well in a few situations but you can't dodge offset into it, it doesn't work on all attacks, and it's unreliable when there's multiple enemies attacking. It doesn't even seem to reflect projectiles, you have to hit them during Witch Time which is easy with Umbran Climax.

They really butchered the accessories in this game. Bracelet of Time is good but I'm not a fan of the short duration and being able to gain magic while using it. No more Gold Moon Pearls+Eternal Testimony, no Sergey's Lover, Crappy Pulley's Butterflies. I really didn't miss them too much on Rosa to be honest.

I was a bit surprised to find out you don't actually need to dodge the missiles earlier in the Insidious fight. They usually just go around you if you stay still. Every once in a while one will fly straight at you but I was ready to block. That infinite range magic drain staff..
