We do not believe the spirits of other beings are "lesser" than humans. There are theological differences and that is perfectly fine. We also have different perspective on the nature of the human being: many of whom are enshrined divinities. I favor the transition towards a vegetarian lifestyle but in a very nuanced and realistic manner: does it taste good? Is the food very enjoyable? I reject asceticism. I don’t care what tradition: I don’t moralize.
