I figured I'd make a depiction of that easy mode that people are always demanding. And also post some links addressing the issue in more detail.

I think this video by Gaming brit is the best. Talking about not only how an easy mode shouldn't be forced in, but also how it gives devs an excuse to skip play testing by giving players a skip button. And he also points out that even having an easy mode ruins the game even if it's optional.

I'd also like to point out that when journalists are constantly conflating easy modes and accessability it's intentional because they want to use actually disabled people as a shield so that they can pretend it's for the greater good and not for their own pathetic egos. Since actually disabled people love Fromsoftware games and specifically cited the difficulty.
