Beating Mario 64 without Getting a SINGLE STAR.
Mario 64 is known for having some of the most ridiculous glitches in all of gaming. One of which is the Side Backwards Long Jump, or SBLJ. This glitch involves using a tiny staircase to glitch Mario through the 30 star door and straight to Bowser in the Fire Sea.
This glitch is incredibly difficult to pull off, usually taking hours upon hours of practice to even pull off a single time. This glitch is required for 1 and 0 star speedruns of Mario 64.
What makes this particular run so crazy is that I accidentally did a variation of the SBLJ that caused me to completely skip Dire, Dire Docks (DDD). This is what is required to beat the game with 0 stars, as opposed to 1. Typically when performing an SBLJ, you go through the door but still have to play DDD and collect 1 star.
Skipping DDD is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than just getting through the door. I don't even know how to skip DDD, it just happened by mistake.
HURRAH TO MARIO.
ps - edited the run down to make it more enjoyable to watch. not worried about it being "official".
