"The basic idea of 5D Chess is that instead of moving your pieces around as normal, you can (sometimes) send them back in time, to add them to an earlier state that the board was in." and that's one special feature about this overly complicated game.

I invited the President of Chess Club to a couple of rounds to see who truly is the superior chess player. However none of us had read the rules prior to playing, so it led to several disasters along the way.
