beating trauma loop in cruelty squad (first time)
Before the massive essay:
This game is Cruelty Squad. I won't bother explaining it here because it's an absolute mountain of a game. In case I don't cover it in the future, here are some amazing videos that give you context:
• the game where you invest in organs a... @Max0r
• Cruelty Squad @Pyrocynical
• An In-Depth Analysis Of Cruelty Squad @MuntChunk
Yes Pyro's video is long. No, I didn't find this game through Pyro. Thank you Max0r x)
Massive essay time.
I haven't been working on any new YouTube videos as of late. I have finished university, which means I have a degree now (yippee). I'm working a full time job and don't have as much time to dedicate to making videos/essays, and when I'm not at work I tend to be playing games or making games. I have a more long-term game that I'm making and have been making for about 4 months. It's ambitious and I've not worked on any kind of game like it before. If development continues, and the game is given a full course then I'll consider uploading content relating to the project on the channel.
I've moved back home since graduating, and my environment at home just isn't really equipped to record content on the same tier that my old place was. (Thin walls, family running around, living near an ambulance station).
If the landscape of this platform hasn't changed too much in a while, then I'll come back to making content. There are still some videos that I really want to get around to making. But, balancing my time around my projects and obligations whilst still giving myself time to recharge my social battery is a challenge within itself. It's hard to imagine a world where I can continue making content in my current environment whilst living a healthy life.
Just to be absolutely clear before I post this video, I haven't quit making content. I've stopped making content. My circumstances don't permit me to create the same quality of content that I have a reputation of making, thus I have to postpone it until my circumstances change.
There is no significant issue or problem in my life. There is nothing causing me discomfort. As of writing this, I feel healthy, capable and proud. Writing this out and acting upon the decision to stop creating content for the foreseeable future is for the greater benefit of my well being.
I absolutely love creating content, but it isn't a sustainable career option right now and for me, there are bigger fish to fry.
I'm not disappearing, and if I do resume uploading sooner than expected, It will most likely end up being content similar to this :)
Love ya, stay safe ❤ ️ https://discord.gg/CV26Vrk5FQ
