Becoming Bette Midler's Bodyguard - An Interview With Hollywood Stunt Man Steven Lambert - Part 3
In Part 3 of our series of videos with Steven Lambert, he talks about his experiences of working as a bodyguard to Bette Midler during the making of the film The Rose, including a memorable first meeting with the famed singer/actress!
The film was loosely based on the life of Janis Joplin, as it follows the life of a self-destructive rock star in the late 1960s, who struggles to cope with the pressures of her career. However, during the making of the film, it turns out that there was as much alcohol and drug use behind the cameras as there was in front of them!
In Part 4, Steven Lambert will talk about his experience of meeting and working with martial arts and Blaxploitation icon Jim Kelly, so be sure to be subscribed to the channel to catch that!
