Before Rogue One, There Was Lethal Alliance - Ranking Every Star Wars PSP Game (Part 4 of 8)
Before Rogue One, there was Lethal Alliance! Today, we’re playing Star Wars: Lethal Alliance for PSP as Part 4 of our 8-Part series, reviewing every Star Wars game on the PSP.
This game follows Rianna Saren, a Twi’lek mercenary, and her droid Zeeo as they take on the Empire in a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans. With unique droid-assisted mechanics, platforming, room-clearing combat, and even aerial sections, Lethal Alliance offers a fresh take on Star Wars action. Plus, Kyle Katarn makes an appearance—instant win in my book.
We’ll also cover the emulation quirks when running on PPSSPP, including texture loading issues and desynced cutscenes due to the game's timing system. Despite some clunky controls and basic character models, Lethal Alliance is an earnest attempt at a standalone Star Wars game on PSP, with varied gameplay and a unique story worth checking out.
