Before you Buy NBA2K26!! Understand RNG vs DDA
Before you buy NBA 2K 26 I really want people to watch this video through and through. I understand that this video is about 30 minutes long and it might be time-consuming for you but it takes me roughly about 30 minutes to explain the Dynamics that are in NBA 2k video games not just the next title of NBA 2K 26.
If there is one thing that I can't stand about NBA 2K is the fact that their marketing ploy is disingenuous and it doesn't tell you every single thing that's going on in the inner workings of the game. For whatever reason microtransactions are their number one priority so they'll say anything and do anything to the 2K community just to get them to buy whichever product is up next and in this case is NBA 2K26.
Before I go any further I have to explain RNG and DDA. RNG is a random number generator which I described in a video as something that changes randomly and doesn't factor into either your players skill or abilities which sometimes render them useless. in this video I tell the 2K community that rng is something that can be managed or even stopped because of the ability to buy skill boost and turbo boost in the video game. What skill boost and turbo boost do in the video game is that it takes the random number generator and stops it from being so random. For 2K26 one of their marketing ploy is to tell the community that RNG is no longer in the game when in actuality it will still be in the game just tone down a little.
2k's real problem is DDA which is dynamic difficulty adjustments. Dynamic difficulty adjustments are things that 2K changes right in the middle of the game while you're playing it to make the game easier or harder for you. I'm not saying that DDA is something that can stop you and your friends from going on a 100 game streak because I have defeated DDA in the past. I'm saying that DDA is there to stop you from reaching your full potential with your my player and it's not a random thing it's something that 2K tactically does when you're either too hot or too cold on their video game to keep engagement and retention high.
Final thoughts the whole purpose of this video is to enlighten the 2K community about RNG and DDA and explain to them which one is more harmful to them as a consumer. this video was aimed to educate gamers not just gamers of NBA 2K products but of call of duty products and for pretty much the whole gaming market that has dynamic difficulty adjustments and coded into their games to make things harder for you or easier for you depending on your recent gaming performance.
