Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson, who was blown up by an IED in Afghanistan and has become known as the most seriously injured surviving soldier of the campaign, has consistently defied doctor's expectations. Now he has done it again. He has just taken part in a 65-mile Scandinavian expedition in honour of the Second World War's Telemark heroes who launched daring missions against Nazi-occupied Norway.
