Thousands of troops are engaged in a series of mock battles in and around Scotland as part of Europe's biggest military exercise.

13 thousand personnel from nine countries are involved in exercise Joint Warrior.

It involves beach landings, air assaults and counter piracy, as well as a full-blown air campaign.

Forces News has been to RAF Leuchars where British and French fast jets are flying in support of troops on the ground.
