Bennett Plays The Death and Return of Superman Part 1 - Nintendo's Youtube Creators Program
0Just off the top of my head, here are 4 solutions Nintendo could utilize to make their YouTube share revenue program more satisfactory for consumers:
1. Increase the ratio for YouTubers. Currently the rate in 60/40 for single videos, and 70/30 for entire channels. Personally, I would feel 70/30 and 80/20 for videos and channels respectively is easier to swallow, but it should also only apply to videos over a certain advertising revenue threshold.
2. Reduce the 3-day approval date to be evaluated after a video has been posted, mainly to make sure the YouTuber doesn't do anything inappropriate with Nintendo-copyrighted material.
3. Provide incentives for YouTubers to participate in the program. Have Nintendo's social media sites post links to certain YouTuber's videos and give them a chance to have their opinion or message heard, and/or give participants in the program some sort of footage or material to really make a video production special.
4. Expand upon the list of games currently available for YouTubers to submit in the program (though that I'm sure will happen really soon).
Remember everybody, this is only a beta, and I know for sure Nintendo of America will consider all of our feedback and make adjustments where appropriate!!
