Escue kill demonstrated here originally found by Jehuty.

I use several visual cues here for timing and placement, everything has its importance.
Speedboost in, wall jump off left wall and charge the shinespark at the door.
Start moving left immediately and jump when you get to the center statue's spear.
Wiggle and space jump once and position self at left kneeling statue's spear tip to spark down hitting Escue to the left (movement up until here should have this hit timed perfectly.)
Immediately flash shift left and respin to get between Escue and the wall, hit him 3 times with screw attack and then move right to hit him again bouncing you to the right and hit him 2 more times for a total of 6 screw hits.
Jump up and lay a cross bomb immediately to the left of where the Core-X is spawning, careful, its hitbox is larger than it appears and you don't want to be hit out of the way here.
Run under and screw attack up so that the knockback from the cross bomb hits the Core-X into your screw attack (bonus clip provided at end in case you hit with screw before cross bomb.)
Lay another cross bomb on the ground at the left kneeling statue's spear when the Core-X starts moving to the left (neither position or timing are too strict here) and jump over top to hit with screw attack at the same horizontal positioning.

If your first hit on the Core-X is the screw attack, it will be knocked back in the wrong direction, so I provided a short clip with a suggestion on how to get the 2nd set of hits to kill, no real setup here though.
