This video shows me testing where is best to have the residential tax for speedrunning Cities: Skylines. A lower tax could mean more residential demand, but a higher tax would mean more income to be able to place buildings.

So which was better for the run?

It looks like as low of a percentage as possible will work best. I'll certainly be keeping residential tax at 8% for the remainder of my runs.
