In the previous part of this series, I spoke about epistemic humility. In this part I discuss the idea of Cartesian Skepticism. Cartesian Skepticism might seem a little extreme to the average skeptic in the skeptic community, but there is much we can learn from it. It also shows why we should have epistemic humility.
The video contains an explanation of Descartes' methodological doubt, the argument from dreams, and the evil demon argument. It also discusses why these may be more relevant that you think, and how we as skeptics can apply them in our day to day skepticism.
