These bots just don’t know when to give up, do they?

First they’ve tried SMZeus and then they tried these vom (or other variations) dot net and now they’re trying to entice us with a little something with “promosm” comments.

Sorry bots. It’s not happening!

So how did I come across this?

Simple: A comment was left on one of my “Dead Island: Riptide” videos and it had those very words within it. Curious, I looked up the term on YouTube and sure enough, there have been a couple of results of some people questioning it’s legitimacy and one example of warning people not to use it.

Should you receive a comment like this in the comments of any of your videos (recent or old), delete the comment immediately or report it as spam and then place the word of “promosm” in your blocked words list.

And that’s pretty much it.
