In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Beyond The Map (Early Access Version). Beyond The Map is a fantasy island survival open world crafting game with dungeon crawling action RPG mechanics. Beyond The Map has a lot of game mechanics that is similar to Len's Island, Mayday: The Survival Island, Luma Island, Diablo 2, Path of Exile, Core Keeper, Wild Planet, Valheim, Enshrouded, Force Of Nature 2, The Riftbreaker, Crashlands 2, Don't Starve Together, and V Rising. After customizing your character (choose from there class types with their own unique perks and special ability), you start off on the shores of an Island (shipwrecked) with a series of Quests to complete. It has the usual cozy game vibe mechanics, gather resources with various tool types. What is great about this game is the Auto Tool Use mechanic where you simply Interact with the object and it knows what tools you need to use to perform the action. No need to swap Tools around constantly. The skill system is really interesting as well. It's like a Path of Exiles equipment gear sockets and gems connection system. You can build your base for setting up a bed (your spawn point if you die) and a workbench to do crafting. The bed only requires a roof over it and not necessarily a fully enclosed room. There are various monsters to fight (Path of Exiles and Diablo 2 vibes). Beyond The Map is a Surprisingly Fun and Well Polished game for an Early Access release and has Amazing Potential. I highly recommend adding this game to your Wishlist and checking it out.
