An obscure Sega 360 title. This game is a hidden gem. It forced a terrible voice command gimmick that works with your mic. The system is very inconsequential and barely works so the game is better if you just ignore it. It's basically a Japanese version of Gears of War. It's a cover shooter. The cover system is rough. You fight huge mechanical animal bosses. The story is very well done and it deals with human androids and ai in a similar fashion to Bladerunner. The game is not perfect. The friendly ai is basically useless and just gets in your way. You can usually just run and eat damage, buying medpacks. Headshots remove the "targeting" of the enemies and they shoot other enemies for you and attract fire. Killing enemies give you credits and you can get upgrades, ammo, medpacks, etc. Upgrading your gun is very important. Don't spend it on your allies because they're worthless. If you're nice to Bo enough he will be on your side in the last fight.

It's a very good shooter. The cover system is tough to use efficiently. The friendly Ai is awful. The voice options are essentially just yes or no that make them happy or mad and have no other consequence. The gun upgrades and health bonuses aren't really rpg elements. You can get health boosts or more space for another med pack but it's not going to change much. The gunplay and boss fights are what bring me back to this game. They should've dropped the voice commands and made a boss rush.

Increasing difficulty basically just means you die quicker and bosses eat more bullets. So I just try to get headshots, upgrade my health and gun asap, and always stock up on medpacks. The sewer level I should reset at the checkpoint because it always fails my first attempt at the end for some reason. After crashing the van I have to reset because if I just run it soft locks. I do the first half well but then just push to finish.
