7Biomutant - Let's Play Part 08 - From enemies to allies. This video is Part 08 of an adventure into Biomutant's world. In this series we take on the challenges Biomutant has to offer and explore the gameplay, from the beginning and through to the end. In the 8th part of this adventure:
Pumped up by the previous victory, I ran straight for the last outpost (sort of). On the way I found the mirage of Whiz two more times and remembered the gliding and healing functions of my little grasshopper. With the help of the glider I started soaring through the sky, getting closer to the last outpost. I have to say, I am really impressed by the traveling options that I have so far.
Once in entered the last outpost, I was greeted by the Jagni Tribe leader. He summoned his last line of defense, a giant oger-looking-guy named Bulldozer and the battle was on! Too bad it ended 5 seconds later. He melted like an ice cream on a hot, sunny day. I was hoping for a bigger challenge, considering the fact that he was their last guardian and that his name was freakin’ Bulldozer. The Sifu visited the new outpost as well but this time he did not give me anything… it felt weird, a cycle was broken (why though? It makes no sense).
It was time for the Myriad Tribe army to march on the Jagni Tribe fortress. All of our troops were gathered at the front gate. They all waited patiently while I went to pick up a mysterious piece of... something and while I peed. After watching a cutscene of the army marching into the fortress, I found myself fighting ALL BY MY FREAKING SELF -_-. I was truly disappointed by this.
Set fire and shot fireworks at the fortress I was supposed to NOT damage (really cool features, too bad the battle was bad). Broke through gates and doors and found myself face to face with the Jagni Tribe leader. The battle ended with me winning and him becoming an ally in the race against the clock to save The World Tree.
The Sifu showed me my next enemy , the Netra Tribe, and gifted me the Jagni Tribe staff. A very nice weapon, with cool combos and gap closers.
