The game is a solid 7/10 for me, loses points on narrative/story, game design, lack of mob variation, lack of meaningful mounts, and simple combat mechanics. The game world looks beautiful, but I found it too large with too little to do in between so transversing became tedious and repetitive after a while. Dialogue repeats/loops between different NPCs after a while and there is a lot of backtracking for the quests.
I got this game from PS+ and decided to give it a shot and it's actually pretty fun. There's a lot that can be improved on such as making the game a much more compact experience like adding a dedicated farming area, or creating more unique NPC's instead of placing the same kind of NPC everywhere. It really takes away the joy of exploring an open world game when you run into the same thing (reskinned) over and over again. I think Biomutant would be better if it was a smaller, and more condensed game with more unique NPC's and Mobs.
