This category is really dumb. I skip the barrier in area 3, which allows me to skip areas 5 and 6 entirely. This skip only works at framerates lower than 60fps, so I have to play with vsync on and at 800x600 and 56fps until I get the skip. At that framerate, collision detection is really really poor, so I switch back to 1080p60fps afterwards to make the game slightly playable again. Shoutouts to Shiden for figuring out how the skip works.

Since I skip area 5, I don't have the rocket launcher. Getting the 1-cycle kill on the area 3, 10, and 11 bosses is outrageously difficult, but I manage to do so in this run. I also can't do the spike skip in area 10 because running the game with vsync on screws up the invincibility frames (or maybe running the game at 400fps as before is what ruins the i-frames and makes it possible...).

Overall this run is quite good. There are several instances of minor bad luck, but overall it isn't bad at all. I made only a few mistakes for minor time loss, but I got every boss quick kill and had an amazing Albatross stage!

Changing the framerate/resolution in this game makes it really unstable and causes really frequent crashes. This is the first recorded run that didn't crash. I will not be trying to improve this run; I am happy with how this turned out, and trying to improve it would require getting the game to not crash during a run on rare pace. Just not worth the effort.

Another quick note: the in-game time in this game adds the time from your previous save file. Between every attempt, I made a new file and instantly quit to menu. Therefore, the IGT you see here is "accurate". It should be able to be compared between other any% runs if they use the same startup procedure.
