BIOS Update Drastically Increases Ryzen’s Game Performance | Benchmarking
AMD's Ryzen line up of processors has undergone numerous changes since release thanks to BIOS updates which have improved the feature set, memory compatibility and performance - but the question is, does this update now mean it's competitive with Intel?
In this video we take MSI's X370 XGaming Titanium and update to BIOS 1.3 and with that plus numerous chipset driver improvements, Rise of the Tomb Raider has drastically increased in performance at 1080P, running at over 115FPS and similar performance increases for Hitman.,
For those wondering, this is with Nvidia's GTX 1080 graphics card (slightly overclocked), Windows 10 (updated) and a Ryzen 7 1700 overclocked to 3.8 GHZ. We compare the older bios to the new BIOS.
