Bioshock 2 ending
4I found BioShock 2's good ending to be extremely satisfying and beautiful , honestly I think its an amazing game.
and I also found myself genuinely moved, and that doesn't happen to me very often in gaming because I play so many single player games week in week out. What I liked most about the ending was the sheer brilliance of visual story telling, as Delta takes the ride on the bathosphere up to the surface, barely clinging to life, we get a view of Rapture and how a seemingly perfect world had fallen into such ruin and moral disrepair, and the music playing during this scene captures the entire cinematographic mood beautifully.
Pleasant memories of BioShock 1 came back, and the entire experience of the city under the sea felt like the epic journey it was. I could watch this ending again and again and still get similar feelings, and having Eleanor preserve Delta's last ounce of life with her forever was a phenomenal - and fitting - final scene. ( but you only get this ending if you do a sort of pacifist run of the entire game )
