We’ve come so far, and now the end is in sight. In this powerful penultimate episode, Booker and Elizabeth finally reach Comstock’s mansion — the heart of Columbia, and the place where every twisted truth is supposed to unravel.

But before they can even begin to search for answers, their path is violently interrupted. Songbird appears, the monstrous guardian crashing down with fury. Just as he’s about to end Booker’s life, Elizabeth steps forward — and makes a choice. She agrees to return to her prison, to give up her freedom, if it means saving Booker.

But Booker isn’t about to let her go without a fight.

He charges into the mansion after her, only to pass through some kind of strange temporal barrier. The world shifts around him. Everything is dark, broken, decayed. He’s no longer in Columbia as he knew it — the mansion lies in ruins, overgrown and crumbling.

It’s 1984.

Wandering through this shattered timeline, he finds her — Elizabeth, but aged and hollow, her voice filled with regret. She tells him the truth: she brought him here. She orchestrated everything. The events they’ve lived through were part of a plan to save the girl she once was — to stop herself from becoming the monster Comstock turned her into.

In this future, Elizabeth was a conqueror — a force twisted by pain, power, and the lies of the Prophet. But she saw herself for what she had become, and vowed to change the past. This final act of hope is all she has left. She uses the last of her strength to send Booker back — to a point in time where he can still make a difference.

He returns to the mansion. Safe… but late.

Six months have passed, and the girl he fought to save has suffered alone. When he finds her, she’s no longer the same — stronger, colder, but still herself. She’s ready to end Comstock once and for all.

But Booker sees the danger in her eyes. He promises to do it for her, to prevent her from walking down the same dark path. The two leave the mansion, side by side, beginning their final march toward the man who started it all.

The end is coming. The final truth is near. And only one episode remains.
