So with the Steam Fall Sale done and both Sony & Microsoft pushing for an all digital future for their next gen consoles I ask is a digital only world a good or bad thing.

I've already told you about my intentions about going solely digital but what about you?

Do you think Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft are stifling the uptake of digital on consoles by the way they're pricing games or do you think making digital games cheaper would devalue these titles and affect retail? Do you think this is just early days and as these consoles develop a stronger user base we'll see prices drop and Steam-like sales and discounts appearing. Or is this a sign of things to come, where the the hardware developers use their own storefronts to dictate prices and the publisher can claw back more profit despite the spiralling cost of making games.
