UPDATE: It turns out this wasn’t the case. Pearl Abyss did an update to the game on Wednesday Jan 20 that cut off access before the January 27 deadline to reach level 50. I was level 43 at the time. I tried to buy the game, but I got/get a message that I “already own” the game. The same thing happened to my buddies. So, we can’t buy it either and can’t play it anymore. :(

I found out there is some sort of promotion where you can gain permanent access to Black Desert Online permanently if you level up before January 27.

So, I decided to start a Wizard and see if I can get to level 50. This is my second time playing after creating my character and leveling to 11 on my first hour and thirty inutes playing.
