UPDATE: It turns out this wasn’t the case. Pearl Abyss did an update to the game on Wednesday Jan 20 that cut off access before the January 27 deadline to reach level 50. I was level 43 at the time. I tried to buy the game, but I got/get a message that I “already own” the game. The same thing happened to my buddies. So, we can’t buy it either and can’t play it anymore. :(

This is the thrid part of my journey to level 50.

I am loving the game so far even though I am mainly grinding to reach the level 50 goal.

45:50 The Alter of Dark Wrath
1:02:27 Red Nose Engulfed ... Dark Portal
1:10:24 Attempt to start the Event Beautiful Melody (I thought thie might be a good way to grind but found out that I was getting knee deep into quests with NPS so I abandoned that effort and looked for an area with mobs that I could grind.)
1:52:38 At level 15 I found an area with mobs at a slightly higher level 16-18 on the map to grind.
4:06:15 Swamp: At level 20 I looked for a new area to grind and found a mob area at Lv 19-22. I grinded this area for the rest of the session until I reached level 32.

Tips:
- In the 16-18 level mob area I discoverred that taking down a tent insta defeated all mobs that cam from that tent. So it was better to focus on tents than to focus on the individual enemies.
- Toward the end of the 16-18 mob when my buddy came back we noticed he was defeating enemies much easier. After thinking it was his weapons, we found out that was because he had eaten a food called "simple cron" that bosted his damage greatly. For example 15 dagger hits to take down an enemy reduced to 1 hit.
