🧠 ABOUT CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 7

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is an upcoming first-person shooter game co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, and published by Activision. It is the twenty-second installment of the Call of Duty series and the eighth main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (2024).

Set in 2035, Black Ops 7’s story — playable in single-player or co-op — follows a team of agents led by David Mason in the aftermath of Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012). Like previous titles, the game includes multiplayer and the round-based Zombies mode.

Development on Black Ops 7 took place alongside Black Ops 6, with both games being green-lit simultaneously. Marketing began in June 2025 with a cinematic trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase, followed by a full reveal at Gamescom (August 19, 2025). The game releases November 14, 2025 for PS4, PS5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 keeps the classic FPS feel but shakes things up — movement’s smoother with wall jumps, and Tactical Sprint is now a perk instead of standard. The game features three main modes: campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies.

The campaign follows David “Section” Mason’s JSOC unit across 11 missions, ending with a huge 32-player “Endgame” event in the city of Avalon, where dying means losing your gear. Progression is shared across all modes — XP, weapons, and Battle Pass levels carry over.

Multiplayer still features 6v6 matches and adds a new 20v20 “Skirmish” mode, with 30 customizable weapons that can be “Prestiged” for cosmetic unlocks.
Zombies returns with a massive open map, smaller survival arenas, a Wonder Vehicle for travel, and a revived Dead Ops Arcade mode.

Overall, Black Ops 7 is leveling up the franchise — faster, deeper, and more connected than ever.

🎖️ CAMPAIGN:

Set in 2035 — ten years after Black Ops II (2012) — Black Ops 7’s campaign follows JSOC Commander David “Section” Mason (Milo Ventimiglia) and his team “Specter One” as they investigate the return of Raul Menendez, a supposedly deceased Nicaraguan terrorist threatening to “burn the world down.”

Mason is joined by Mike Harper (Michael Rooker), Eric Samuels (John Eric Bentley), and Leilani “50/50” Tupuola (Frankie Adams), with oversight from Colonel Troy Marshall (Y’lan Noel). They also cross paths with The Guild, a former criminal organization turned tech corporation, led by Emma Kagan (Kiernan Shipka).

🧟 ZOMBIES — “Ashes of the Damned”

Premise: After their battle atop Janus Towers, the Requiem crew — Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mac Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo — are teleported to a mirrored version of Janus Towers’ plaza within the Dark Aether dimension.

There, they encounter alternate versions of Richtofen, Dempsey, Nikolai, and Takeo, before facing a mysterious entity that drains their life essence and summons endless hordes. Forced to fight together, both teams must survive the plaza and uncover the truth behind their fate.
