After waiting 40 minutes minimum to start playing this game you're treated to more pointless running around preparing to go hunt. By contrast Wild Hearts starts you on the hunting grounds and you hunt to your hearts content.

If you have to choose between the two choose Wild Hearts. Don't waste your time like I did mine. The tone of Monster Hunter is also very childish, whereas Wild Hearts is more mature.
