I wanted to take a moment to address racism. While I understand my channel is dedicated to video games, the recent events cannot be ignored, and I want to speak up.
Growing up in Toronto, we are genuinely a tossed salad when it comes to the various cultures, races and religions, and I am fortunate enough to experience life this way. When I look at people, I don't see the colour of there skin, but their hearts. I appreciate what makes us unique, not suppress it. While I live this way, it is apparent that not everyone does, which is why it is so important we speak up against the injustice so many people in our world face every day.
I have always wanted to build an inclusive, diverse and safe community for every human that passes through. We have to support one another now more than ever if we are going to help change hearts and minds to embrace equality. Let's stand together, spread the word and make a difference today so we can all see a better tomorrow.
The recent events have made me open my eyes to the power we have as individuals. Going forward, I will strive to be more than just a "good" person. To help raise awareness and help contribute, I plan to make changes to what I do on Discord, YouTube, Twitch to address not only racism but so many of the wrongs people suffer.
