0Blair Witch takes place in 1996, two years after the disappearance of Heather, Mike, and Josh in the Black Hills near Burkittsville, Maryland. The Black Hills have claimed another victim, 9-year-old Peter Shannon. Ellis, a traumatized veteran of the Gulf War and former Burkittsville police officer. Discharged from the force after a mistake on his part, Ellis only has his partner Bullet to rely on. Deciding to join the hunt for Peter, Ellis catches the eye of the Blair Witch and must survive the night with his sanity intact.
