Alright, after working out the kinks, I finally got the controls for the emulator to run correctly.

Here's a little info about Bleach: The 3rd Phantom.

The game starts in the past, roughly a couple centuries before the events of the Manga/Anime of Bleach, it's never made official in terms of exact dates. You can play one of two twin, Fujimaru, the boy, or Matsuri, the girl. They are the main characters, however, don't think that Ichigo and all the other characters aren't a part of this game. It has a lot of different characters and a TON of playable characters. There's just no end to the characters and would make any fan of Bleach happy to play the characters they like.

What sets this game apart from other Bleach games is that it's not a 2d/3d fighting game. It's a strategy RPG, along the lines of Fire Emblem/FFTactics/other games like that. It's a well made tactical game that is fun and in my part...addicting, even for a casual Bleach fan like myself.

The events of the story in the game are actually quite good and while there are changes that are inevitable to the Bleach storyline, the game keeps the story of the Bleach series quite true. The only difference between this game and the anime/manga is that all the characters know the twins and they actually play an active role in the war against Aizen at the beginning, whereas in the anime/manga the twins don't exist.

Now then, I could go further, but I don't want to spoil such a pretty great game.

Just something you might not be able to follow in this first video is the fighting. It's pretty easy to follow, but here's the basic thing you need to know watching this playthrough if you've never played the game before.

There are five traits in this game, 3 basic and 2 other traits. Each character can only have one trait, except for activating Bankai, where a character may have a different trait. More on this later.

The 3 basic traits are Power, Speed, Tech. The two others are Non-Combatant and All. The three basics work like the weapon triangle in Fire emblem.

Power trumps Speed, Speed trumps Tech, Tech trumps Power. That means a Power fighter will have an advatange and deal more damage and take less damage when fighting a Speed fighter. That doesn't mean Speed can't beat Power, but it has a harder time doing so.

All trumps everything and is usually reserved for bosses. Everything trumps Non-Combatants, as they don't fight. These are usually limited to NPCs during battle, yet there is a character or two you can have with that trait on the team, who is more for using Kidos (Spells).
