Blender lesson 1 - navigating around 3D environment, translating object, screencast VIDEO
Firstly we talk about why you should learn Blender for 3D modelling.
Then we talk about why this particular series of Blender tutorials might be useful to you.
We then start navigating around the 3D environment using the middle mouse button, rotating about the centre of the grid and zooming in and out.
We then try to translate (move) the cube around in the 3D environment by using the 3D manipulator widget or by manually entering values into the object properties window.
Hope you had fun with this lesson!
