Blizzard's "Death and Return of Superman" Review & Memories from The SNES Omnibus
74Developed by Blizzard well before the likes of Diablo and World of Warcraft, The Death and Return of Superman was release for Super NES and Genesis by Sunsoft in 1994. Now, it's one of more than 350 games covered in depth in The SNES Omnibus Vol. 1 (A-M) by Brett Weiss. I was fortunate enough to contribute to this particular section of the book, and Brett has allowed me to adapt his (and my) words to this very video.

This video's content was recited from just one of the more than 400 pages in The SNES Omnibus Vol. 1, with Vol. 2 coming next year. If you’d like read about another 350 or so Super NES games in a similar manner, I think this book is definitely for you.
The three parts of the write-up were typical of what you can expect in the book as well. The first part, read by Chris Clow of the excellent Comics to Consoles podcast, was a pure description of the game, followed by author Brett Weiss himself reading his own words, and me personally reading what Brett refers to as an “insider insight” in the book. He asked dozens of games industry writers and professionals to pen their own takes on Super NES games, and I’m honored to have been part of it.
