Bloodborne is an Action RPG from Japanese developer FromSoftware, makers of the hit Dark Souls series. Bloodborne is made exclusively for the PlayStation®4 system.

You search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam which has a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets turning its citizens into beasts. You must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive. Blood vials are collected from the slain enemies and you must use them to regenerate your health. What peril is this?

The game includes an arsenal of weaponry, including guns, axes and saw cleavers. Rather than more straigtforward fighting, you must learn from failed attacks what strategy will work on the various monsters, dogs, and crazed people. You must practice your reflexes and strategies to kill the enemies that guard the city's dark secrets. You will probably die multiple times in Bloodborne. Patience and focus is the way through.

Bloodborne contains detailed gothic environments, exquisite architecture, degenerated into a monsters haven, with detailed attention to atmospheric lighting, movement, construction, interaction of players, vivid, lifelike details and superb monsters. Bloodborne action showcases the power of the PlayStation(R)4 system though reload times can be slow from the huge graphics. They are worth the wait.

Light chalices give you entrance to vast underground ruins, filled with traps, beasts, and rewards, to explore and conquer alone or with others. These procedurally generated dungeons are unique to your play and can be uploaded or shared with friends.
