Bloodborne item dupe is OP

Yes I've played through the game without glitches/exploits, and I will continue to do so, but doing things like this can still be tons of fun. I had to do it with one character before they patch it out, if they ever do.
EDIT: It was patched out right after I recorded this and is no-longer possible.
Sorry for the lack of audio in the middle, not sure what happened there but it's really not important and I was too lazy to copy the video off the PS4 again.
Duplicating items that give blood echoes to level up as high as you want at the very beginning of the game makes everything incredibly easy. I could probably kill these bosses without weapons and without even dodging their attacks.
Even if the exploit is patched, I still have the character, so I might try to kill the blood-starved beast without weapons. I'll record that if it works out.
It will be nice to look back at this in the future and remember what was once possible.
