12Welcome to my Let's Play of Bloodborne! Bloodborne is a game by FromSoftware and is a spiritual successor to the Dark Souls series. This game promotes much faster gameplay though with an emphasis on offence rather than defence. We're taking on the role of crime-stopping, mystery writer Jessica Fletcher. Will her perceptive eye save her from the crazed inhabitants of Yharnam? Probably not, no. Expect me to die a lot.
In today's video we finally get to meet the nun who we met in Yahar'gul and sent back here to Oedon Chapel. She offers us her own blood, but we can't take it. We instead leave this area to hunt for Eileen the Crow's mark beneath Odeon. Believing myself to have gone too far, I attempt to use a Lantern, only to be surprise attacked by the mark! Luckily Eileen shows up to help me, because this guy is tough! I get the killing blow though. We head up past the cathedral into an area we haven't explored only to be attacked by yet another Hunter and he's wielding the Tonitrus! There's no Eileen to save me this time, but luckily I am able to defeat him, just in time for another Hunter to attack! This one is far more dangerous with his Rifle Spear, taking constant pot-shots at me. I eventually defeat him after much hard work and set off to explore the rest of this area.
