In #RE4R the blue light manages to stop Las Plagas and this feature's present in #SeparateWays DLC too:just before reaching motorboat,there's a blue flame which avoids Ganados to go on.
I suppose that's made in order to not "bother" the upcoming cutscene but I find so great they use an excuse from lore which is the blue light: #RE4Remake is truly awesome!
