The BMC64, a 'bare metal' version of VICE running on the RaspberryPi 3 (or 2 with some limitations).
So what does 'bare metal' mean?
It means that the emulator runs directly on the RaspberryPi without any operating system. That means that all the CPU power goes into the emulation and there are no background tasks to screw with the timing.
Therefore the emulation runs much smoother and with less input/output lag than if it was running on a similar system with a normal OS like Windows or Linux.

You can also use the GPIO port of the Pi to connect 2 9-pin Joysticks or even an original C64 keyboard to the BMC64, but I have not tested that, yet.
