Boeing Stearman PT-17/N2S-3 flight
2This is the complete video when I flew the Boeing Stearman PT-17/N2S-3 which is owned by Waldo Wright's Flying Service. I flew out of Winter Haven Gilbert Airport on 4.27.14. It was a tremendous experience! I have a private pilots license which I earned back in November of 1988 but have not logged any time in any aircraft since I stopped flying in April of 1990. So 24 years later I climb into an aircraft that was built around the time my Dad and Mom were born that I have zero time in and took to it like a fish to water. That is what really amazed me! I was back in an environment that I thought would be much more difficult to get acclimated to but as it turned out everything I had learned about flying came back to me and was used to fly this classic WW2 era training aircraft. I look forward to the opportunity to take another flight real soon!
