Bonk's Adventure - Round 1-1 (SuperPCEngineGrafx Birthday Special)
Well, before I could travel away for Christmas, I wasn't able to have enough time to record any more single races for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Instead, what I decided to do was to bring out some footages of Bonk's Adventure that I recorded back at the end of 2008 in order to provide some dedication to him, as I've never really got to give a gift back to him for giving me the TurboGrafx-16 system in the first place and he is currently my only online compainion that is friends with me of FaceBook. Happy Birthday, Justin!
Bonk's Adventure (or PC Genjin, PC Kid, or BC Kid, as it was also known as) was the first game title of Bonk, a caveman with a very hard head that he uses to hit enemies and other objects. He established himself as the TurboGrafx-16's mascot for a while, and was featured in more of the popular games on the system. I learned about the hidden 1-Up on the first level from a PCEngineFX user named Turbo D. I like to have Bonk land on the Florent Sprungs with his head as a nice landing once jumping on them is no longer needed. I ended up missing a smile icon from one of the "gators (their full name slips me)" during invincibility.
Recorded from a real TurboGrafx-16. The video was recorded back at a time before I started using a Y-adaptor for audio, so sound tends to come out of one speaker only. This title is available on Virtual Console for 600 Wii Points.
