Booker had a really hard 10 years of life....his owner allowed all of his teeth to ROT out of his mouth. Reading through his original vet records, Booker's previous owner allowed Booker to succumb to tooth loss by having infections and head swelling until every tooth fell out. Probably about 6 years of never ending pain. Booker was a dog left to rot and a broken jaw and broken legs were left to heal on their own. He was then dumped in a shelter WITH his brother after being a pet for 10 years.

He was rescued by "One Starfish re-homing" a day before he was scheduled to be euthanized -----by gas.

Last weekend I had the privilege to go to New Jersey and meet him in person... what an amazing little dog and what an amazing family adopted him... he must be one of the luckiest dogs in the world.
