Kuwanger is a fun middle of the road Maverick to fight.
This is a fair fight with the no-dash no-charge rules.
He's fast but telegraphs his boomerang attack quite in advance.
His most dangerous move is whenever he dashes or teleports close to you. That's when you are at the mercy of his Dead Lift attack. He'll grab X and throw him to the ceiling.

When he dashes and he's not in post-hit invincibilty, shoot him. That's right! He gets knocked back, making this fight a whole lot easier.

When he throws his boomerang, try to lure it away from you. When the boomerang changes direction, it can't turn on a dime to try to learn when the boomerang will turn downward or upward when coming back.

The Teleport spam is where Kuwanger likes to trick you into getting hit. There are 2 ways you can deal with it:
- Stick to the walls. You can try to get down and sneak in extra hits but it's dangerous that eventually you'll mess it up and you'll get telefragged.
- Get down to the ground and keep moving/jumping trying to get a few hits on him. This is a bit dangerous because you run the risk of him appearing right next to you and doing the Dead Lift.

Overall a fun battle.
