Recorded at studio "G7", Torini, Sept. 1978.

Following the dissolution of the Kameleoni group in 1970, some former members of the group formed the Boomerang group. The first band consisted of drummer and vocalist Zlati Klun , guitarist Danilo Kocjančič , guitarist Peter Veri Gorjup and bassist Ladi Koradin . The first concert was held on February 20, 1971 in the Tomos factory canteen. At that time, their repertoire consisted of songs from well-known groups: Grand Funk Railroad , Free , The Rolling Stones . The first success was recorded in May of the same year when they performed at the first BOOM festival in Maribor. Immediately afterwards, they went on a Yugoslav tour with the status quo as a pre-group. When the play "Marš na Drinu" was played in Belgrade, the crowd was enthusiastic, and the members of the Status Quo group were amazed that the pre-party of the show was stealing them. After the concert, members of Boomerang sprung up with members of the Status Quo, about which the media wrote a lot.

After moving from Koper to Ljubljana in 1972, the first replacements took place. Koradin and Kocjančič went out, while Boomerang performed as a trio with the new bass player Miro Tomassini. In this ensemble, they recorded a single for Helidon, featuring songs by Tomaž Domicelj and Rade Testen "Find yourself second" and on B page "I have to get up early in the morning". The following year they performed at the BOOM Festival in Ljubljana, and the bassist Zlatko Mikšić came to the band. The following year, Mikšić went to military service, replaced by Jadran Ogrin , while for Ogrin , Bruno Langer took the place of the bass player. They again performed at the BOOM festival at Ljubljana's Tivoli Hall and their song "My Pain" was released at the Boom Pop Festival Ljubljana's '74 'concert. That same year they joined Bijelo Dugme , YU group and Group 220 on a tour of Yugoslavia. In Subotica they performed as a pre-group for the Barclay James Harvest . After the departure of Vera Gorjup into the army, their new guitarist became Vedran Božić . This ensemble existed briefly, since Christmas lived in Zagreb , Langer in Pula and Klun in Koper . After the departure of Christmas, the group turned to the funk rock, and the band comes with keyboardist Tihomir Pop Asanovic , singer Sergio Blažić and guitarist Pavel Kavec .

In autumn 1976, all members left Kloun to form the Atomic Shelter in September . Zlatko Klun renewed the group in 1978 with a new team comprised of Slovenes and Italians from Trieste. Klun replaced drums with percussion and lead vocal, and the band consisted of guitarist Goran Tavčar , who worked in Italy as a studio musician, guitarist and flutist Boris Tenčič , bassist Dino Sartoretto and drummer Dario Vatovac . From September 1978 to March 1979, the first LP Boomerang record for PGP RTB was recorded in Studio G7 in Milan . In May 1979, they performed at the youth festival in Subotica , where they received a jury award for the song "Live at your place at least one day", which was released on September 11, 1979 for PGP RTB. At the beginning of 1980, Boris Tenčič left the band, joined by bassist Jadran Ogrin and keyboardist Milan Čiro Lončina . Their second LP record In the West, Nothing New was recorded in the band Zlati Klun (vocals, percussions), Goran Tavčar (guitars), Jadran Ogrin (bass), Dario Vatovac (drums) and Milan Čiro Lončina (keyboards). Due to the unsuccessful release of the record and the small response of the audience, the group withdrew from the scene and finished work.
